Nearsure is seeking a Senior Backend Python Engineer to join their LATAM team and work remotely.
The role involves implementing new features and contributing to the existing code base while utilizing best practices for software engineering.
Responsibilities include contributing to the existing platform codebase, refining requirements with the Product Owner and stakeholders, developing and maintaining design documentation, writing reusable and sustainable code using ATDD practices, leveraging existing libraries, collaborating with team members, participating in code reviews, engaging in continuous improvement processes, and providing troubleshooting support.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience working with Python (preferably versions 2 or 3).
A minimum of 3 years of experience working with APIs is necessary.
At least 2 years of experience with Spring is required.
Candidates should have 2+ years of experience working with AWS, including SSO, ECR, ECS, Service discovery, and EDS.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in Data Modeling is required.
An advanced level of English is essential for effective communication with US clients.
