Description:

Nearsure is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join their remote LATAM team.
The role involves maintaining and enhancing a diverse set of applications, including AngularJS, WordPress, and Symfony-based systems.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high performance, scalability, and code quality of these systems.
Responsibilities include writing and managing tests, maintaining multiple Symfony-based applications, and extending a WordPress-based application built on the Bedrock by Roots framework.
The engineer will use Composer for dependency management, maintain AngularJS applications, manage build processes with Gulp, and write unit tests using Karma and Jasmine.
The position requires collaboration using JIRA for ticketing and project management, and ensuring visually appealing and functional front-end interfaces through mastery of HTML & CSS.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
The candidate must have 5+ years of experience working with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
A minimum of 4 years of experience with PHP and AngularJS is necessary.
The role requires at least 3 years of experience with Symfony and in Test-driven development using Karma, Jasmine, and PHPUnit.
The candidate should have 3+ years of experience with source control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, and GitHub.
Experience using Composer for dependency management for at least 2 years is required.
The candidate must have 2+ years of experience working with JIRA.
An advanced level of English is required for effective communication with US clients.
