Remote AAA - Application Database Administrator

Description:

• Nationwide is seeking an experienced Application Database Administrator to provide all activities related to the administration of database schemas and their objects.
• The position is remote and requires an active SECRET Security Clearance.
• The role involves performing database programming and supporting systems design.
• The administrator will project long-range requirements for database schema administration and design in conjunction with Infrastructure DBAs.
• Responsibilities include designing, creating, and maintaining database schemas in a client/server environment.
• The role also includes conducting quality control and auditing of database schemas to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data and permissions.
• The administrator will advise users on access to various client/server databases.
• The position requires designing, implementing, and maintaining complex database schema objects concerning user requirements, access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods.
• Knowledge and experience with database technologies, development methodologies, and front-end programming languages such as SQL are essential.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have five (5) years of progressive experience with database query languages such as Oracle, PL SQL, SQL Server, and MS Access.
• At least three years of hands-on experience and expertise in Database Schema management is required.
• Experience must include the ability to work on various operating systems and additional programming languages.
• Candidates should have experience in at least two projects in a large organization responsible for administering, operating, maintaining, and securing a large-scale computer database.
• An active IAT Level II or 8140.03 equivalent certification(s) (Security+CE) is required.
• Candidates must also possess a MongoDB Certified DBA certification.
• A Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance and Tier 3 investigation (T3) must be held at the time of proposal submission.
