Description:

The ADABAS-Natural Senior Analyst-Developer will be responsible for analyzing legacy Natural code and ADABAS databases to enhance and optimize business applications.
They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and insights on business rules.
The role involves documenting existing business rules, data flows, and dependencies within Natural applications and ADABAS databases.
Utilizing reverse engineering techniques and tools to capture undocumented business logic and rules from legacy code is a key aspect of the position.

5 years of experience as an ADABAS-Natural Analyst-Developer with a strong understanding of the Natural programming language.
Proficiency in working with ADABAS databases, including data modeling, queries, and database design.
Familiarity with IBM mainframe systems.
Ability to create clear and comprehensive technical documentation for various audiences.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to decipher complex, undocumented business rules.
Self-motivated with the capability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Previous experience as a technical lead or Subject Matter Expert (SME) in ADABAS and Natural development.
Experience with legacy system modernization projects is a plus.
