Description:

  • Blue Acorn iCi is seeking an Adobe Commerce Technical Architect with experience in Out-of-process Extensibility principles and Adobe App Builder.
  • The role involves providing technical project oversight and thought leadership to cross-functional business and engineering teams related to Adobe Commerce and Adobe App Builder solutions.
  • A strong understanding of Adobe’s App Builder and out-of-process extensibility practices is required.
  • Experience with Edge Delivery Services or Adobe Commerce Storefront is desirable.
  • Candidates should have experience with node.js and React.js, serverless functions like Adobe Runtime IO, and API Gateways like Adobe’s API Mesh.
  • The architect will have technical ownership and authority over assigned client projects and will enforce best practices for development on the Adobe Commerce (Magento) platform.
  • Responsibilities include architecting and designing Adobe Commerce solutions based on client requirements, ensuring solutions are consistent with company development policies, performing quality reviews, and participating in project discoveries.
  • The role also involves providing technical consultation to clients, assisting with Pull Requests, Code Reviews, and Deployments, and supporting sales staff with training and demos for Adobe Commerce solutions.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must hold Adobe Commerce certifications, specifically Adobe Certified Expert.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Adobe Commerce development is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience working on Adobe Commerce enterprise solutions is necessary.
  • Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of experience with node.js and adjacent technologies.
  • The ability to learn new skills quickly and a willingness to work through problems with Adobe engineering is essential.
  • Candidates must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Expert knowledge of engineering and platform technologies, concepts, procedures, and practices is required.
  • Strong leadership skills, creativity, judgment, and analytical skills are necessary.
  • Candidates should be excited to coach and mentor engineers at all levels of the department.
