As a Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for working on the CRM product of the Houzz Pro SaaS offering, focusing on helping professionals manage the lifecycle of their leads.
The tech stack includes React, Node, GraphQL, Java, Python, AWS, GitHub, Jenkins, Kubernetes, MySQL, Lucene/Solr, Redis, Kafka, and Docker.
Your work will have a direct impact on millions of users globally.
You will be transforming high-level ideas into live products used by homeowners and professionals worldwide.
Responsibilities include building features for web applications, libraries, and microservices, collaborating across engineering, product, and design teams, and enhancing Houzz Pro Lead-Management with a focus on CRM features.

Proficiency in web application programming with languages such as Java, C++, PHP, and Javascript.
Understanding of algorithms, distributed systems, and microservice architecture.
Desire to create engaging consumer experiences.
Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience.
Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases & data stores (e.g., Redis, Cassandra).
Familiarity with monitoring platforms like Pingdom, Grafana, Prometheus, Bosun, and TSDB.
