Description:

Acid Labs is seeking a Cloud Backend Engineer to help develop and optimize systems using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies and modern development methodologies.
The role involves designing, developing, and implementing scalable solutions on GCP.
Responsibilities include building and optimizing applications using App Engine, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, and Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
The engineer will develop and maintain databases in BigQuery, Bigtable, Cloud SQL, and Spanner.
Efficient data flows will be implemented using Dataflow and Pub/Sub.
The position requires building APIs and backend services in Go, Java, or Python.
Ensuring code quality through automated testing with JUnit and Mockito is essential.
The engineer will deploy and manage applications using infrastructure as code tools and CI/CD.

Requirements:

Advanced knowledge of GCP and experience with tools such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), App Engine, and Cloud Run is required.
Proficiency in databases like BigQuery, Bigtable, Cloud SQL, and Spanner is necessary.
Experience with Dataflow and Pub/Sub is expected.
