Remote (Aerolínea) Cloud Backend Engineer

Description:

• Acid Labs is seeking a Cloud Backend Engineer to help develop and optimize systems using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies and modern development methodologies.
• The role involves designing, developing, and implementing scalable solutions on GCP.
• Responsibilities include building and optimizing applications using App Engine, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, and Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• The engineer will develop and maintain databases in BigQuery, Bigtable, Cloud SQL, and Spanner.
• Efficient data flows will be implemented using Dataflow and Pub/Sub.
• The position requires building APIs and backend services in Go, Java, or Python.
• Ensuring code quality through automated testing with JUnit and Mockito is essential.
• The engineer will deploy and manage applications using infrastructure as code tools and CI/CD.

Requirements:

• Advanced knowledge of GCP and experience with tools such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), App Engine, and Cloud Run is required.
• Proficiency in databases like BigQuery, Bigtable, Cloud SQL, and Spanner is necessary.
• Experience with Dataflow and Pub/Sub is expected.
