Description:

  • Provide expertise in designing, developing, and testing business applications for a top 10 US Insurance Carrier.
  • Understand customer business processes to enhance application support.
  • Validate technical designs to meet business requirements.
  • Conduct quality checks on project outputs.
  • Perform impact analysis of application changes across various components.
  • Estimate effort and cost for new functionalities.
  • Recommend integration and testing criteria.
  • Assist in implementing and troubleshooting system issues.

Requirements:

  • Total Work Experience: 7-9 years.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Work Experience in This Field: Minimum Required: 1-3 years, Preferred: 7-9 years.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Agile Methodology.
  • Experience in Application Development, Application Support, Quality Engineering, and Release Management.
  • Familiarity with Emerging Technologies.
  • Proficiency in Application Development Core Tools.
  • Software/Tool Skills in Java, JavaScript, UI Frameworks (React), NodeJS, TypeScript, Web Service Integration/Restful Services (API), Microservices, Linux Environment, Cloud (Azure), Spring Boot, Containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, GitHub, CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD, .Net, C#, MS VSCode, CoPilot, Vault/Cloud Native Secrets Management, DB2/Distributed DB2, SQL, SQL application tuning, Python, and Angular.
  • Strong verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to challenge ideas, take personal responsibility, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Open to new ideas and proactive in personal and team development.
  • Strong technical aptitude with an understanding of applications and technical architecture.
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages, defensive coding, and database concepts.
  • Solid product knowledge and understanding of business processes across units.
  • Deep knowledge of insurance concepts and terminology.
