Description:

Verisian is seeking an AI Engineer to join their engineering team in building the Verisian Platform.
The role involves using the latest AI technologies, including LLMs and RAG systems, to create a reliable code generator for analyzing clinical trials.
Responsibilities include leading the analysis, design, and engineering of the AI stack, including model selection, fine-tuning, and production deployment.
The engineer will design, prioritize, build, and test new functionalities, troubleshoot customer issues, and develop improvements for user impact and performance.
The RAG system is based on Python and Pinecone, with open-source models deployed.
The main application stack is based on Next.js and deployed via Docker/Kubernetes in the cloud.
The engineer will build the Verisian Agentic AI Scientific Computing Environment (SCE) to resolve issues, modify existing code, and create analyses from templates.
The SCE will enhance the speed of clinical trial analysis and integrate with the Verisian Validator for efficient data handling and validation.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience and a foundational understanding of LLMs, particularly open-source models, including production deployment.
A foundational understanding of non-LLM AI and experience with RAG systems (Pinecone or similar) is required.
Strong interest in programming languages, parsing algorithms, interpreters, and compilers is essential.
Extensive experience in Python, Pandas, and at least one other programming language is necessary.
Candidates should have a clear understanding of graph theory and algorithm implementation.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, independent, and capable of managing a code base.
