The role is for a Senior AI Engineer focused on GenAI infrastructure and applications, responsible for delivering on Roofstock's GenAI strategy.
The engineer will work with a distributed team, ensuring high standards of communication and quality while executing tasks asynchronously.
Responsibilities include architecting and implementing GenAI solutions, managing task transparency, and conducting code reviews.

Requirements:

A minimum of 4 years of experience building applications as an engineer is required.
A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is necessary.
Experience in building AI applications, particularly GenAI using Agents, RAG, and LLMs, is essential.
Proficiency in building applications using AWS infrastructure is required.
Strong experience with Java, Python, distributed systems design (microservices), and data assets is needed.
The candidate must be able to articulate technical challenges and solutions effectively.
A deep understanding of processes and the ability to iterate within a high-performing team is required.
Proficiency with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and change management (JIRA) is necessary.
Flexibility to apply software best practices to non-deterministic solutions is expected.
Fluency in English is required, and the candidate must be an independent engineer available for approximately 40 hours per week.
