Description:

  • The AI Engineer position at Platinum Technologies involves leading the design and implementation of cloud and cloud infrastructure solutions for AI that meet Government and internal requirements.
  • The role includes defining architectural design decisions affecting the selection, design, and instantiation of infrastructure and environment for AI solutions.
  • The AI Engineer will analyze client requirements and emerging technology needs related to AI systems and architecture, supporting the development of cloud capabilities.
  • Responsibilities also include participating in design thinking to solve problems, leading architectural aspects of solution development, evaluating new cloud technologies, and interfacing with industry, academia, and research centers.
  • The position requires communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring infrastructure supports the solution life cycle, and making recommendations for the use of new cloud technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Active Public Trust clearance.
  • 5 years of experience in developing secure cloud solutions across major cloud service providers.
  • 5 years of experience with modern Python and its effective use in solving real-world problems.
  • Direct experience with AI and NLP technologies, data cleaning, preprocessing, and analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
  • Experience with cloud services for securing and deploying ML models.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or C# for writing scalable code for AI/ML applications.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with architectures supporting full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and/or Machine Learning Operations (MLOps).
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code.
  • Knowledge of federal compliance and guidance related to cybersecurity and cloud-based security controls.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
