Remote AI Engineer

Description:

• We are seeking an AI Engineer to join our team of over 60 software engineers, designers, and makers that have been working together for over 15 years.

• The AI Engineer will work alongside this talented team to develop, implement, and fine-tune LLMs to meet our client's business needs.
• Responsibilities include developing, testing, and refining prompts for AI models to ensure high-quality outputs.
• The role involves implementing and improving embedding techniques for images and text using deep learning models.
• The AI Engineer will apply advanced NLP and computer vision techniques to enhance prompt responses and embeddings.
• Collaboration with the data team is essential for curating datasets for training and fine-tuning models.
• The position requires conducting A/B tests and model evaluations to continually improve prompt outcomes and embedding quality.
• The AI Engineer will work closely with product managers and designers to understand application requirements and user needs.
• Continuous learning is expected to stay updated with the latest in NLP, prompt engineering, embeddings, and AI ethics.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in NLP, machine learning, and/or computer vision, with a strong focus on prompt engineering or embeddings.
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning libraries such as PyTorch is necessary.
• Experience with NLP frameworks like Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy, and OPENAI is required, along with knowledge of embedding techniques such as word2vec, BERT, and CLIP.
• Familiarity with vector databases and similarity search technologies, including MongoDB and Pinecone, is essential.
• Knowledge of data cleaning, augmentation, and model evaluation techniques is also required.
