The role is for a Senior AI Engineer focused on GenAI infrastructure and applications, responsible for delivering on Roofstock's GenAI strategy.
The engineer will work with a distributed team, ensuring high standards of communication and quality while executing tasks asynchronously.
Responsibilities include architecting and implementing GenAI solutions, managing task transparency and organization, partnering with technical leaders, and conducting code reviews.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience building applications as an engineer.
A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required.
Experience in building AI applications, particularly GenAI using Agents, RAG, and LLMs is essential.
Proficiency in building applications using AWS infrastructure is necessary.
Strong experience with Java, Python, distributed systems design (microservices), and data assets is required.
Candidates should be able to articulate technical challenges and solutions effectively.
A deep understanding of processes and the ability to build and iterate within a high-performing team is needed.
Proficiency with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and change management (JIRA) is required.
Flexibility to apply software best practices to non-deterministic solutions is essential.
Fluency in English is mandatory, and candidates must be independent engineers available for ~40 hours/week.
