Remote AI Engineer

Description:

• The company is a leading investment platform for single-family rental homes, aiming to make real estate investing accessible, cost-effective, and simple.
• They have a team of 600+ employees and closed a Series E funding round of $240 million in 2022.
• The role is for a Senior AI Engineer to work on GenAI infrastructure and applications within the AI Engineering team.
• Responsibilities include working with a distributed engineering team, architecting and implementing GenAI solutions, and staying updated on emerging technologies.
• The position reports to the AI Engineering Manager within the Data organization, which provides solutions for all applications and business within Roofstock.

Requirements:

• Must have at least 4 years of experience building applications as an engineer.
• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Experience building AI applications, particularly GenAI based utilizing Agents, RAG, and LLMs.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, distributed systems design, and data assets.
• Strong understanding of processes, high-performing team dynamics, VCS (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Change Management (JIRA).
• Ability to apply software best practices to non-deterministic solutions.
