Weights & Biases is seeking an AI Engineer for the AI Growth team, focused on developing open-source integrations and GenAI-powered tools.
The role involves engaging with the AI developer community to drive adoption of Weave, a comprehensive AI developer platform.
This position is remote and based in India, with a balance of 70% coding and 30% community engagement.
Responsibilities include contributing to Weave integrations, developing tools, creating blog posts, collaborating with the Product team, organizing events, and building an ambassadors program in India.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about LLMs, fine-tuning, developer tools, and fostering AI communities.

Requirements:

Candidates must be based in India to build awareness of Weights & Biases in the local market.
A minimum of 4-7 years of industry experience is required.
A proven track record of open-source contributions and building GenAI applications is essential.
Experience in pre-training or fine-tuning LLMs at the 1b+ scale or training multi-modal models is necessary.
Candidates should have experience working in a developer tools company and planning AI community events.
Strong pluses include organizing or speaking at AI events and familiarity with Python and ML frameworks.
