Remote AI Engineer (LLM)

• The AI Engineer (LLM) will lead product development, research, and technical architecture for the main product.
• Responsibilities include researching, designing, and implementing new AI-powered features.
• The engineer will work with the engineering team to implement features and maintain backend infrastructure for scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Participation in the entire software development lifecycle is required, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment of AI features.
• The role involves researching and implementing new AI technologies, conducting code reviews, and staying updated with the latest trends in AI and software development.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Python developer is required.
• Candidates must have experience in building scalable and extensible data infrastructure.
• Experience in infrastructure containerization and DevOps & MLOps on GCP or AWS is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience in building and maintaining enterprise-grade APIs, such as with fastAPI.
• A strong desire to make AI and LLMs accessible to businesses and developers is essential.
• A builder mindset with a passion for experimenting with complex systems is required.
• Experience working with and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) is preferred.
• Familiarity with low-latency audio stream processing is a plus.
• Experience in building production-grade applications with LLMs and using frameworks like LangChain and LlamaIndex is beneficial.
• Knowledge of large-scale distributed compute and cloud infrastructure is advantageous.
