99x Americas is seeking a talented AI Engineer specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision for a client in the geospatial industry.
In this pivotal role, you will spearhead innovative AI solutions that integrate both NLP and computer vision technologies.
The aim is to enhance product features and drive business insights.
Your expertise will be instrumental in building intelligent systems that can interpret and process complex data from various sources.
Responsibilities include developing, testing, and refining prompts for AI models to ensure high-quality and contextually relevant outputs.
You will implement and improve embedding techniques for images and text, leveraging deep learning models for efficient similarity and relevance matching.
Advanced NLP and computer vision techniques will be applied to improve prompt responses and embeddings.
You will collaborate with the data team to curate datasets for training and fine-tuning, optimizing models with real-world data.
Conducting A/B tests, model evaluations, and qualitative assessments will be part of your role to continually improve prompt outcomes and embedding quality.
You will work closely with product managers and designers to understand application requirements, user needs, and business goals.
Staying updated with the latest in NLP, prompt engineering, embeddings, and AI ethics is essential to recommend new techniques and ensure best practices.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in NLP, machine learning, and computer vision is necessary, with a strong focus on prompt engineering or embeddings.
Proficiency in Python and deep learning libraries such as PyTorch is essential.
Experience with NLP frameworks like Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy, and OPENAI, as well as embedding techniques such as word2vec, BERT, and CLIP, is required.
Familiarity with vector databases and similarity search technologies, including MongoDB and Pinecone, is necessary.
Knowledge of data cleaning, augmentation, and model evaluation techniques is also required.
