Description:

InVitro Capital is seeking an AI Engineer with a strong focus on Prompt Engineering to design, fine-tune, and optimize large language models (LLMs) and machine learning applications.
The role involves developing innovative AI-driven solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying at the forefront of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning advancements.
Responsibilities include developing and fine-tuning LLMs for NLP applications, creating and optimizing machine learning models using libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn, and designing effective prompts that align with business needs.
The engineer will collaborate with developers, data scientists, and product managers to design AI-driven solutions, perform comprehensive testing, and integrate NLP and machine learning models into business applications.
The role also involves analyzing large datasets using tools like Hadoop and Spark, maintaining data pipelines, and mentoring junior team members.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, Pacific Time Zone.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in machine learning, specifically in NLP and prompt engineering.
Expertise in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn is essential.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with data manipulation tools like SQL and Pandas are required.
Proven experience in fine-tuning and optimizing models using prompt engineering techniques is necessary.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in handling large datasets, are required.
Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, and tools like Jira for project management is preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for effective teamwork.
Candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment focused on AI-driven innovation.
Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Spark, and familiarity with cloud-based machine learning platforms.
