Description:

• InVitro Capital is seeking an AI Engineer with a strong focus on Prompt Engineering to design, fine-tune, and optimize large language models (LLMs) and machine learning applications.
• This role involves developing innovative AI-driven solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying at the forefront of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning advancements.
• You will work to improve the effectiveness of language models through prompt engineering, ensuring that AI applications deliver accurate, contextually relevant responses.
• The working hours are Monday to Friday, Pacific Time Zone.
• Responsibilities include developing and fine-tuning LLMs for NLP applications, creating and optimizing machine learning models using libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• You will design and implement effective prompts that align with business needs and user requirements, ensuring models provide accurate and insightful outputs.
• Collaborating with developers, data scientists, and product managers to design AI-driven solutions that meet business and customer objectives is essential.
• Comprehensive testing, including prompt iteration and hyperparameter tuning, will be performed to ensure models deliver consistent and high-quality performance.
• You will integrate NLP and machine learning models into business applications, ensuring smooth interaction with other systems.
• Analyzing large datasets using tools like Hadoop and Spark to extract valuable insights and improve model accuracy is part of the role.
• Maintaining data pipelines and automation workflows using tools like Apache Airflow is necessary to ensure the scalability and efficiency of machine learning models.
• Staying current with advances in prompt engineering, machine learning, and AI, and continuously improving models based on emerging techniques and trends is expected.
• Mentoring junior team members by sharing best practices for prompt engineering and model optimization is also a responsibility.
• Using version control tools like Git to manage code integrity and collaborate effectively within a team is required.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in machine learning, with a specific focus on NLP and prompt engineering is necessary.
• Expertise in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn is essential.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with data manipulation tools like SQL and Pandas is required.
• Proven experience in fine-tuning and optimizing models using prompt engineering techniques is necessary.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in handling large datasets, are required.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, and tools like Jira for project management is necessary.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams, are essential.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment with a focus on AI-driven innovation is required.
• Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Spark, and familiarity with cloud-based machine learning platforms such as AWS SageMaker or Google Cloud AI.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for model deployment and scalability, as well as knowledge of computer vision techniques and reinforcement learning, are also preferred.
