Description:

We are building a mission-driven, open-source platform to educate, connect, and empower individuals to take action on causes they care about.
The platform will feature curated educational content, real-time community engagement, and global networking tools.
As the founding developer, you will take this project from idea to MVP and beyond.
You will be responsible for building a scalable MVP web app with both frontend and backend capabilities.
Key features to design and implement include a Content Library with daily updates, an Interactive Map to connect users, a "Find Your Passion" Tool, an Action Hub linking to NGOs and resources, and a Community Chat for collaboration.
You will integrate gamification elements to enhance user engagement.
Collaboration with stakeholders for regular feedback and iterations is essential.
You will deploy the MVP and deliver a working demo along with documentation.

Requirements:

Proficiency in modern full stack development technologies such as React, Next.js, Node.js, Firebase, or similar is required.
Experience in integrating third-party APIs and implementing real-time features like maps and chats is necessary.
Familiarity with gamification and user engagement strategies is important.
A strong UI/UX sensibility with the ability to build clean and intuitive interfaces is expected.
Experience in building MVPs or open-source projects from scratch is required.
Knowledge of AI or recommendation systems is a bonus.
