• The company is seeking a talented Image and Video Synthesis AI Research Scientist to develop advanced AI technologies for image and video synthesis and manipulation.
• Responsibilities include designing and implementing state-of-the-art algorithms for high-quality image and video synthesis, style transfer, and editing.
• The role involves developing and implementing advanced image and video synthesis algorithms using deep learning techniques, including generative adversarial networks (GANs), diffusion models, neural style transfer, and monocular depth estimation.
• The candidate will work with large datasets to train and optimize image synthesis models to generate high-quality, realistic images.
• Development of tools and frameworks to streamline the development and deployment of image synthesis models is also required.
• Collaboration with other research scientists, research engineers, and data scientists is essential to integrate image and video synthesis models into larger systems and applications.
• The candidate will troubleshoot and debug issues with photo synthesis models and systems as needed.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest research in image and video synthesis and machine learning and applying it to practical problems is expected.

Requirements:

• A Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or 8+ years of equivalent experience is required.
• The candidate should have publications in top-tier journals and conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICRL, Neurips, IJCV, TPAMI.
• Strong programming skills in Python and extensive experience with PyTorch are necessary.
• A strong understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts is required.
• Experience in developing and implementing generative AI algorithms, such as GANs, diffusions, view synthesis, depth estimation, or style transfer is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
• The candidate must understand, communicate, and collaborate effectively in an English-speaking environment.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with video synthesis and manipulation, 3D rendering and image-based rendering, and 3D human pose and shape estimation.
• Experience with software engineering best practices, including version control and testing, is also preferred.
• First author publications in top-tier journals and conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICRL, Neurips, IJCV, TPAMI are a plus.
