Description:
The role is for an AI Integration Engineer based in the UK or India, working remotely.
The position is full-time and part of the Special Projects team at Vestd, a leading sharetech platform.
The salary for the UK is up to £60k per annum, and for India, it is up to 50 LPA, both depending on experience, plus equity and benefits.
The engineer will pioneer the integration of AI tools across the organization, focusing on enhancing processes and driving innovation.
Responsibilities include evaluating and integrating third-party AI platforms, developing microservices, designing AI solutions on AWS, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The role requires experimentation and innovation to improve core applications and data infrastructure.
The engineer will serve as the internal AI expert and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 3–5 years of software development experience, particularly in AI or machine learning.
Demonstrable experience in building AI or ML applications, such as computer vision or NLP, is essential.
A strong understanding of the AWS ecosystem, including Lambda and S3, is required.
The ability to build full-stack applications from scratch, including data handling and basic front-end interfaces, is necessary.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
Candidates must be comfortable working in a fully remote environment and have the ability to motivate and align cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Attention to detail and accuracy is crucial.
Nice-to-have skills include proficiency in a modern programming language, startup experience, knowledge of shares and share schemes, and experience working in a remote team.
