Remote AI (NLP) Engineer

Description:

• Surglogs, a health technology startup, is seeking an AI (NLP) Engineer to join their EU R&D Team in Bratislava.
• The company has successfully digitized processes for surgery centers and hospitals across the US, focusing on healthcare compliance and patient safety.
• The position is full-time and can be remote from Slovakia, Czechia, or the Bratislava office.
• The role involves using AI to enhance patient care, improve healthcare compliance, and save lives.
• The AI (NLP) Engineer will work closely with the AI lead, Matej, to impact the product and customer experience significantly.

Requirements:

• Experience in Natural Language Processing.
• Proficiency in working with Neural Networks.
• Familiarity with RAG and its functionality.
• Knowledge of relational databases like Postgres.
• Experience with REST APIs or FastAPI.
• Patience, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to take ownership of codebases and adapt to a startup environment.
