Description:
Aequilibrium is seeking a highly experienced AI Practice Lead to spearhead its AI strategy and oversee the AI Center of Excellence (CoE).
The role involves driving innovation across internal and client-facing projects, requiring a visionary leader with a strong technical background in AI and exceptional client engagement skills.
The AI Practice Lead will develop reusable AI frameworks, deliver high-value AI solutions to clients, and foster an AI-first culture within the organization.
Responsibilities include strategic leadership, client engagement and delivery, internal contributions, team building and development, and thought leadership and marketing.
The position is fully remote, but only candidates based in Canada with Canadian Citizenship or PR will be considered.
The salary range for this position is $125,000 to $175,000 CAD per annum, based on skills, experience, and geographical market rates.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in AI, data science, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
A proven track record of successfully delivering AI-driven solutions that generate measurable business value is required.
Experience working for tech professional services companies and strong client engagement skills are essential.
Candidates should have a deep understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, predictive analytics, and generative AI.
Familiarity with LLM frameworks and APIs, proficiency in AI tools and platforms, and hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) are necessary.
Strong predictive modeling and analytics skills, particularly for financial services, and knowledge of AI governance and ethical AI practices are required.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to engage with C-level executives and articulate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
