Description:

The AI Prompt Engineer (The AI Interaction Designer) will design, test, and refine prompts that enhance AI models' understanding and performance.
This role involves crafting and refining prompts to guide AI models in generating desired outputs, experimenting with different phrasings and techniques.
The engineer will collaborate with AI researchers, product managers, and UX designers to ensure AI outputs are accurate, relevant, and useful.
Responsibilities include conducting extensive testing and evaluation of AI model outputs based on different prompts and analyzing results to refine prompts.
The engineer will help design natural, intuitive user interactions with AI systems, creating conversational flows and dialogue systems.
Collecting and analyzing user feedback to identify areas for improvement in prompts and AI interactions is also a key responsibility.
The role requires creating comprehensive documentation for prompt design and establishing best practices for prompt engineering.
Staying updated on advances in AI language models and experimenting with new approaches to improve AI interactions is essential.

Requirements:

Proven experience in prompt engineering for AI language models, understanding how prompt structure influences AI outputs.
Solid knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) and experience with NLP techniques and tools to enhance AI's understanding of human language.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate AI responses and adjust prompts for better outcomes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with AI researchers, UX designers, and product teams.
A user-centric approach to optimize AI interactions, ensuring models provide helpful and relevant responses.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, AI, or a related field, or equivalent experience in AI prompt engineering.
At least 2+ years of experience working with AI models, NLP, or conversational AI, with hands-on experience in designing prompts.
Proven track record of improving AI model outputs through prompt engineering and experience with AI frameworks like OpenAI GPT or Hugging Face.
