The AI Research Engineer - Platform Innovation at Centric Software is a highly analytical and research-driven AI engineer who thrives at the intersection of theoretical AI research and practical system implementation.
This role requires a deep passion for type-safe architecture, embeddings, cognitive reasoning, and AI-driven collaboration.
The individual must have a strong foundation in type theory, modern AI architecture, and full-stack development to drive enterprise-scale AI innovation.
Responsibilities include researching and developing type-safe AI architectures, advancing embeddings and multi-modal AI models, enhancing cognitive AI reasoning, prototyping and validating AI research concepts, integrating AI research into enterprise platforms, and contributing to AI research and open source.
The ideal candidate should possess innovative thinking, strong analytical skills, curiosity about new AI paradigms, a systematic and detail-oriented approach, and a collaborative mindset.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in AI/ML research and full-stack system architecture is required.
The candidate must be an expert in TypeScript, type systems, and API design.
Deep expertise in cognitive AI, embeddings, reasoning systems, and AI-driven collaboration is essential.
A proven track record of bridging AI research with real-world enterprise implementations is necessary.
The candidate should be passionate about AI-powered development tools and automation.

The position offers a competitive compensation range of $170K - $220K USD.
