Description:
Phaidra is seeking an AI Research Scientist specializing in Control Theory to develop novel algorithmic architecture for intelligent control systems in the industrial sector.
The role involves designing, implementing, and evaluating models, agents, and software prototypes for perceptual processing.
Research Scientists will report and present findings clearly and efficiently, participate in collaborative research projects, and maintain relationships with external collaborators.
The position requires mentoring Research Engineers to apply research findings to industrial domains.
Phaidra operates 100% remotely and hires internationally, with team members located in various countries including the USA, Canada, UK, and others.
Requirements:
A PhD in a technical field or equivalent practical experience is required, with demonstrated knowledge in reinforcement learning, deep learning, control theory, or multi-agent reinforcement learning.
Extensive research experience in Model-Based, Model-Free, and Safe Reinforcement Learning, as well as Control Theory, is necessary.
