Description:

  • The AI Sales Engineer (The Solution Architect) role involves engaging with clients to understand their business objectives, technical requirements, and pain points.
  • You will assess how AI solutions can be customized to meet specific client needs and deliver value.
  • The position requires collaboration with internal product and engineering teams to design AI-driven solutions that fit client use cases.
  • You will map out how AI technologies, such as machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision, can address customer challenges and create a detailed solution roadmap.
  • The role includes providing technical demonstrations of AI products and platforms, showcasing how the solutions work and how they will address client needs.
  • You will translate complex AI concepts into easy-to-understand, impactful presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Partnering with the sales team to provide technical expertise throughout the sales process is essential.
  • You will help develop proposals, participate in client meetings, and ensure that the proposed AI solutions align with client goals and are technically feasible.
  • Crafting detailed responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) is part of the responsibilities.
  • You will support the client onboarding and implementation process by working with delivery and engineering teams to ensure a smooth handoff from the sales cycle to implementation.
  • Staying current with the latest trends in AI and machine learning technologies is crucial, and you will share this knowledge with clients and the internal team.

Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision is required.
  • Experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role is necessary, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, with the ability to translate complex AI technologies into clear, compelling client presentations.
  • Expertise in designing AI-driven solutions tailored to client use cases is required, along with strong problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering teams is necessary for developing solutions and responding to client needs.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field is required, with equivalent experience in AI sales engineering or technical consulting being highly valued.
  • Certifications or additional coursework in AI, machine learning, or data science are a plus.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales engineering is required, with hands-on experience designing AI solutions and working with clients in a technical capacity.
  • Proven track record of helping close sales deals by providing technical expertise and engaging in customer discussions is necessary.
  • Experience with cloud-based AI platforms and tools (AWS, GCP, Azure) and hands-on experience with AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn is highly desirable.
