The company is seeking a Large-scale High-Performance Computing (HPC) and AI Simulation Architect to develop large-scale simulation environments for high-performance computing systems.
The role involves enabling efficient and scalable computation for AI, scientific research, and data-intensive applications.
The position is remote and based in the United States.
Responsibilities include designing simulation models for large-scale AI/HPC systems, conducting performance analysis, collaborating with hardware engineers, and defining system-level requirements.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 15+ years of experience in the field.
Proficiency in coding performance models in C++ is required.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is necessary; a Ph.D. is a plus.
Strong expertise in high-performance computing architecture design is essential.
Experience with large scale performance simulation environments, such as GEM5 or SST, is required.
Candidates should have experience analyzing workload behavior on large systems using software tools.
Proven experience in designing and optimizing HPC architectures for scientific or data-intensive applications is necessary.
Proficiency in parallel programming models and frameworks like OpenMP, MPI, CUDA, or OpenCL is required.
A solid understanding of performance analysis and optimization techniques for parallel computing is essential.
Familiarity with industry-standard interconnects and network fabrics is required.
Knowledge of memory subsystems and memory hierarchy designs is necessary.
Experience with HPC software stack components is required.
Strong programming skills in languages such as C, C++, Fortran, or Python are essential.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills are necessary for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
