Description:

  • The company is seeking a Large-scale High-Performance Computing (HPC) and AI Simulation Architect to develop large-scale simulation environments for high-performance computing systems.
  • The role involves enabling efficient and scalable computation for AI, scientific research, and data-intensive applications.
  • The position is remote and based in the United States.
  • Responsibilities include designing simulation models for large-scale AI/HPC systems, conducting performance analysis, collaborating with hardware engineers, and defining system-level requirements.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 15+ years of experience in the field.
  • Proficiency in coding performance models in C++ is required.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is necessary; a Ph.D. is a plus.
  • Strong expertise in high-performance computing architecture design is essential.
  • Experience with large scale performance simulation environments, such as GEM5 or SST, is required.
  • Candidates should have experience analyzing workload behavior on large systems using software tools.
  • Proven experience in designing and optimizing HPC architectures for scientific or data-intensive applications is necessary.
  • Proficiency in parallel programming models and frameworks like OpenMP, MPI, CUDA, or OpenCL is required.
  • A solid understanding of performance analysis and optimization techniques for parallel computing is essential.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard interconnects and network fabrics is required.
  • Knowledge of memory subsystems and memory hierarchy designs is necessary.
  • Experience with HPC software stack components is required.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C, C++, Fortran, or Python are essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills are necessary for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
