Commencis is seeking a visionary AI Software Engineer to join their team in Istanbul, Turkey.
The ideal candidate will lead the development of transformative solutions powered by generative AI and large language models.
The role aims to redefine enterprise capabilities through scalable, ethical AI systems.
Responsibilities include designing, building, and optimizing production-grade LLMs and multimodal AI solutions such as text, vision, and speech.
The candidate will lead full-cycle AI development, from data pipelines and model training to deployment and monitoring.

The engineer will spearhead proof-of-concept initiatives and publish insights on emerging techniques.

Requirements:

A BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Proficiency in Python, ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, and transformer-based architectures like Hugging Face and spaCy is necessary.
Proven experience in fine-tuning and deploying generative models, including GPT, Llama, and diffusion models, is essential.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Airflow/Kubeflow), and cloud platforms is required.
Experience in distributed computing (Spark, Dask) and optimizing models for performance is necessary.
Contributions to open-source AI projects or publications in top-tier conferences are considered a plus.
Expertise in prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, and performance-cost optimization is advantageous.
Experience with advanced AI domains such as graph neural networks and reinforcement learning is a nice-to-have.
Active engagement in AI communities like Kaggle, GitHub, and arXiv is preferred.
