Remote AI Solutions Architect

Description:

• Makpar is seeking an AI Solutions Architect to join their team, focusing on designing and implementing AI solution architecture and strategy.
• The role involves understanding and addressing client business problems while expanding Makpar’s AI capabilities.
• The candidate will lead the technical direction and roadmaps for AI/machine learning aligned with business goals, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Responsibilities include evaluating AI technologies, establishing an AI Engineering framework, and collaborating with data engineers and data scientists to develop data pipelines.
• The architect will work with Product Managers and Service Leads to pilot use cases, collect stakeholder feedback, and align technical implementations with requirements.
• The position requires collaboration with security leaders to mitigate risks and ensure ethical AI implementation, as well as implementing safeguards against security challenges.
• The architect will conduct research to scale AI/ML features, provide guidance and training to internal teams, manage relationships with AI technology vendors, and identify risks associated with AI implementations.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have 8+ years of related consulting experience leading a team, either engineering or cross-functional.
• A minimum of 8+ years of experience in an AI solution delivery environment is necessary.
• Candidates should have 8+ years of experience translating requirements into client-ready design documents and in application architecture analysis, design, and delivery.
• Experience in full system development life cycle implementations for 8+ years is required.
• Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in implementing Corporate AI Governance and Strategy, preferably with Federal Government clients.
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience with AI/ML Frameworks and Libraries such as Azure ML Studio, TensorFlow, or similar is necessary.
• Candidates should have 2+ years of experience in Data and Algorithm Marketplaces and AutoML tools.
• Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for 3 years and be Federal Tax compliant.
