Remote AI Solutions Architect, Soluna Cloud

Description:

• Soluna Cloud is seeking an AI Solutions Architect to help customers implement AI solutions and realize transformational business opportunities.
• The role involves working directly with customers to build bespoke AI solutions, helping them imagine and scope use cases that create value for their businesses.
• Responsibilities include selecting, training, and fine-tuning AI models, navigating technical or business challenges, developing proof-of-concepts, and planning for large-scale solution launches.
• The architect will design and run experiments, research new algorithms, and optimize risk, profitability, and customer experience.
• The position requires collaboration with internal stakeholders to drive model implementations and develop new algorithms.
• The architect will also build and mentor a team of strategists, data scientists, engineers, and solution architects.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
• Candidates must have 3+ years of experience as a technical architect or system/software architect.
• Demonstrated experience in driving system architecture development across cross-functional teams is necessary.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on proficiency in Kubernetes, Kubernetes operators, and containers is required.
• Experience with Helm charts, API gateways, ingress/egress gateways, and service meshes (e.g., ISTIO) is essential.
• Proficiency in coding with Python, R, Matlab, Java, or other modern programming languages is required.
• At least 1 year of experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS or equivalent), system, network, and operating systems is necessary.
• Candidates should have 2+ years of experience hosting and deploying ML solutions for training, fine-tuning, and inferences.
• A minimum of 2 years of database experience (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis) is required.
• Strong working knowledge of deep learning, machine learning, and statistics is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning techniques (e.g., CNN, RNN, LSTM, Transformer), machine learning, CV, GNN, or distributed training is necessary.
• Understanding of Kubernetes deployment strategies and cluster management is required.
• Experience with code tools like Ansible and Terraform is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience with DevOps development, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• The ability to work well with a distributed team and outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills are essential.
• Strong communication skills with attention to detail and the ability to convey complex mathematical concepts to non-experts are required.
