The position is for a Machine Learning / AI Engineer to drive innovation in building domain-specific AI agents in a fast-paced, agile R&D environment.
Key responsibilities include designing and refining NLP models, integrating speech recognition and text-to-speech capabilities, architecting retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, and utilizing vector databases for semantic search.
The role also involves using LangChain for orchestrating AI workflows, ensuring data governance with PhiData, training and deploying ML models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
A proven track record of at least 2 years in NLP, conversational AI, or machine learning roles, ideally with hands-on deployment experience.
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face is essential.
Experience with NLP libraries such as spaCy, Rasa, or NLTK, and an understanding of dialog systems is necessary.
Hands-on experience designing retrieval-augmented architectures and working with vector stores like Pinecone, Weaviate, or Chroma is required.
Knowledge of orchestrating multi-step AI workflows using LangChain and experience with prompt engineering is preferred.
Comfort with data engineering tasks and familiarity with containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes-based deployments on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is needed.
Awareness of data governance/privacy solutions like PhiData and compliance requirements relevant to enterprise AI is important.
Strong soft skills, including an innovation-driven mindset, agile mindset, and excellent collaboration and communication abilities, are essential.
