Description:

  • The AI/ML Engineer will design, build, and optimize machine learning models for music analysis, gestural recognition, and intelligent discovery features.
  • Responsibilities include developing new architectures, training models, optimizing inference performance, and deploying AI-driven experiences for real-time music creation and discovery.
  • The role involves working with vector models, LoRA-fied RAG models, multimodal AI, and gestural recognition technologies.
  • This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong coding skills and the ability to write production-quality ML code.
  • The engineer will collaborate closely with Tamber’s engineering and product teams to develop AI models that transform how musicians create and interact with music.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 3+ years of hands-on experience developing machine learning models for production.
  • Strong Python skills are required, including experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
  • Experience with vector models and LoRA-fied RAG models for efficient retrieval and processing is necessary.
  • Expertise in audio files, MIDI processing, and signal processing techniques is essential.
  • Familiarity with gestural recognition, hand tracking, and face identification models is required.
  • Experience with multimodal AI models that integrate text, audio, and vision is needed.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals are necessary, including the ability to write production-grade ML code and work with Git.
  • Candidates should be able to work independently and manage complex AI features from research to production deployment.
  • A deep passion for music and technology, along with an understanding of music structure, DAWs, or composition, is important.
