Description:
Second Dinner is an award-winning independent game development studio focused on creating the most fun games in the world.
The studio is remote-first, with most team members working from various locations across the United States.
The AI/ML Engineer Intern will be part of the 2025 internship class, contributing to the internship experience for future cohorts.
The internship is expected to last approximately 12 to 13 weeks and is fully remote, with potential opportunities to work from the office for local interns.
The AI team is dedicated to researching, developing, and deploying cutting-edge AI technology to enhance game development.
Intern responsibilities include ideating on novel AI applications, conducting relevant research, building and iterating on prototypes, presenting work to the AI team and other company members, and collaborating with various teams.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience programming.
A strong understanding of AI models such as Large Language Models, Diffusion Networks, or Deep Reinforcement Learning methods is required.
A growth mindset and passion for learning new technologies and skills are essential.
Candidates should possess excellent technical and personal communication skills.
Excitement for building new applications for emerging technology in game development is necessary.
Candidates must be currently enrolled at a university or college and plan to return after the internship.
Eligibility to work in the United States is required.
Benefits:
The position offers a competitive compensation rate of $40.00 to $50.00 per hour.
