Description:

  • The Analytics Engineer Specialist – Regulatory Reporting ensures the accuracy, compliance, and continuous evolution of regulatory reports through advanced data modeling, extraction, transformation, and analysis using SQL, Python, Databricks, Redshift, Qlik Sense, and other internal tools.
  • This role acts as a bridge between Data Engineering, Analytics, Compliance, Finance, and Product teams, ensuring that data products are scalable, standardized, and drive strategic insights across the organization.
  • The specialist must proactively adapt reporting frameworks to evolving BACEN regulations while leading initiatives to democratize data access, foster data governance, and promote excellence in data storytelling and analytical methodologies.
  • Responsibilities include leading the design and architecture of analytical data models, performing data extraction and analysis, designing dashboards, optimizing data models, ensuring standardization and governance, driving automation initiatives, acting as a trusted data advisor, and mentoring Analytics professionals.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have experience in the financial sector, preferably in regulatory reporting, finance products, fintechs, or financial ecosystems.
  • Proficiency in data analytics using Databricks, SQL, and Python is required.
  • Proven experience in designing and optimizing analytical data models and scalable dashboards is essential.
  • A solid background in BI and data visualization tools, particularly Qlik Sense, is necessary; experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is a plus.
  • A strong understanding of data governance, versioning using Git, and management of analytical solutions is required.
  • Experience in integrating data into digital products, business processes, and strategies is necessary.
  • Candidates should be able to translate complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and impactful data solutions.
  • Strong mathematical and financial knowledge is a plus, along with knowledge of Spark and Databricks advanced functionalities.
  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills are essential to influence strategic decision-making.
  • Strong leadership skills to mentor Analytics teams and promote a data-driven culture are required.
  • Proficiency in English or Spanish is a plus.
