Description:

Oowlish is seeking an experienced Analytics Implementation Engineer to join their team.
The role involves taking ownership of tracking and instrumentation across multiple digital products to ensure data integrity and visibility.
Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining event-based tracking using tools like Google Tag Manager and RudderStack.
The engineer will use JavaScript and browser debugging tools to validate tags and troubleshoot issues.
Collaboration with developers, marketers, and analysts is essential to define and execute data collection strategies aligned with business needs.
The position requires building and maintaining tracking documentation and implementation guides for cross-team visibility.
Monitoring and troubleshooting data accuracy issues is crucial to ensure clean and reliable analytics pipelines.
The engineer will support integration between tagging systems and data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake.
Optimizing data flow across tracking systems, pipelines, and BI tools is also part of the role.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in analytics implementation, digital analytics engineering, or a related technical field.
Strong JavaScript skills and experience with browser tools like Chrome DevTools for debugging and tag validation are required.
Hands-on experience with GTM, RudderStack, or other tagging/tracking platforms is necessary.
Experience with event-based tracking, data instrumentation, and analytics QA processes is essential.
Familiarity with data warehousing tools (e.g., Snowflake) and building or supporting data pipelines is required.
The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and marketing, is a must.
