Description:

Collaborate with various teams to research, design, implement, test, and deploy new product features for Android applications.
Act as the subject matter expert for the specific system components assigned to you.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Take ownership of resolving blockers, assessing inter-team dependencies, and ensuring timely delivery.
Contribute to implementing improvements and new features in the software.
Monitor software performance and identify areas for improvement.
Refactor codebase regularly to enhance maintainability.
Write automated unit, integration, and UI tests.
Mentor Junior Engineers and provide technical leadership.
Contribute to project management activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Expertise in collaborating on technical solutions with Product teams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in mobile app development with increasing responsibilities.
3+ years of experience in Android, Java, or Kotlin development.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in complex system design.
Familiarity with scrum/agile development methodologies.
Prior experience in technical leadership is preferred.
Bonus points for prior experience in backend API development.
