The company is looking for an Android Engineer to take ownership of existing Android applications, implement new features, build new UI pages, test applications, and release them into new regions.
The role involves working with a globally spread team and ensuring the applications align with the company's growth plans.
Daily responsibilities include facilitating and releasing new versions of apps in various regions, building end-to-end features, and creating new UIs for major sporting events.
The technology stack includes Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Jenkins, Glide, Git, ExoPlayer, and MVVM.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 3+ years of experience writing clean code in Kotlin or Java for Android applications.
A passion for working on mobile apps at all levels, from networking to user interfaces, is essential.
Experience in mobile application architecture, including data modeling, networking, data synchronization, and concurrency is required.
Knowledge of multithreading programming and mobile memory management is necessary.
Proficiency in English is required, as Sporty operates in an English-speaking environment.
