Remote Android Engineer

Description:

• Branch is seeking an Android Engineer to contribute to their mission of empowering workers with financial freedom.
• The role involves designing, building, and maintaining Android apps, implementing robust app architectures, and enhancing user interfaces.

• The ideal candidate will drive solutions from initial architecture to final implementation.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Android development experience is required.
• The candidate should be organized, self-motivated, and proficient in Kotlin as the codebase is 100% Kotlin.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, modular codebases, CI/CD tooling like Bitrise, and architecture patterns is necessary.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Coroutines, Retrofit / OkHttp, and Dagger / Hilt is preferred.

Benefits:

• The position offers a base compensation range of $145-155k annually.
