Description:
The Growth Android Engineer at onX will be responsible for designing, building, and running experiments related to user onboarding, purchasing, and activating users in the products.
The role involves using data and user behavior analysis to make decisions that impact quarterly metrics by increasing the win rate and size of experiments.
Focus on experiments related to subscription purchasing, including testing different offer types and purchase screen user interfaces.
Growth engineers have ownership and autonomy to create, develop, and analyze the outcome of their work to achieve team and company objectives.

Requirements:
Minimum of three (3) years of professional software development experience, with at least two (2) years focused on Android development.
Experience with REST, Graphql, and/or gRPC.
Understanding of best practices and architectural patterns such as MVVM.
Proficiency in GIT, particularly rebasing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Curiosity around user behavior and data analysis to inform and improve experiment ideas.
Strong computer science foundation.
Advocate for the customer experience.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Desire to mentor junior engineers and be mentored by senior engineers.
Ability to write quality code, review pull requests promptly, and maintain 3rd party library integrations.
