Description:

  • The Treat Engineering team collaborates closely with Product Management and Design to enhance healthcare experiences for members and clinicians.
  • The team focuses on engaging members with medical and behavioral health practices through Telemedicine and providing advocacy and information throughout their healthcare journey.
  • The Android Engineer will help build a fast, accessible, and intuitive Android experience.
  • Key responsibilities include building, testing, and deploying user experiences in the Android application.
  • The engineer will execute product specifications and provide insights from the Android user's perspective.
  • Best practices for Android and software development will be ensured in the code base.
  • Participation in spec reviews and offering platform-specific solutions is expected.
  • Collaboration with Product Managers and Designers will be essential for planning and implementing user experiences.
  • The engineer will also participate in pull request meetings and general development meetings.

Requirements:

  • A BS degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Candidates must have 3+ years of professional mobile development experience.
  • Proficiency in the Kotlin programming language is necessary.
  • Exceptional technical communication skills are required.
  • A desire to learn new technologies and stay on the cutting edge is essential.
