Description:

• The Android Software Engineer for Commerce at Cash App will be part of the team dedicated to bringing financial freedom to customers.
• Responsibilities include developing new consumer and merchant-facing products, enhancing existing products, and improving the user experience for Cash App customers managing payments.
• The role involves crafting durable, well-tested code, creating pixel-perfect UI and animations, focusing on product quality metrics, and delivering features to millions of customers.
• The engineer will work with internal teams and external partners to ensure top-notch product solutions are delivered.

Requirements:

• Experience in creating readable, maintainable code.
• Ability to incorporate customer feedback into product solutions.
• Commitment to continuous improvement for oneself, teammates, and software.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, ComposeUI, Coroutines, SQLite, Accessibility, unit tests, snapshot tests, integration tests, and Protocol buffers.
