Remote Android Software Engineer, Commerce

Description:

• The Android Software Engineer for Commerce at Cash App will be part of the team dedicated to bringing financial freedom to all customers.
• The role involves developing new consumer and merchant-facing products, as well as enhancing existing ones within Cash App and Afterpay.
• Responsibilities include crafting high-quality, durable code, designing user interfaces, focusing on product quality metrics, and delivering features to millions of customers.
• The engineer will work on building platforms that scale to address product needs, collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and integrate new Commerce functionality into the app.

Requirements:

• Experience in creating readable, maintainable code is required for this position.
• Ability to translate customer feedback into product solutions and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, ComposeUI, Coroutines, SQLite, Accessibility, and various testing methodologies like unit tests, snapshot tests, and integration tests is necessary.
