Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 3 years of tech lead experience, with the ability to lead initiatives and course-correct as needed.
• A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience is required, including 3+ years of experience building native Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Applicants should possess a broad and deep understanding of Android’s architectural components, including Room, LiveData, Jetpack, and the MVVM architecture.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs using JSON is necessary.
• A solid understanding of multi-threading, concurrent programming, and performance optimization is required.
• Proven working knowledge of software engineering techniques, methodologies, and practices is essential, along with the ability to develop and ship complex high-quality software products.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely with others within and adjacent to the existing team are important.
• Candidates should have the ability to consistently evaluate current technical approaches to maintain industry best-of-class standards.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
