Description:
Goldschmitt and Associates LLC (G&A) is seeking an Angular Frontend Developer to join their Agile team.
The developer will support an essential modernization program for the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Federal Student Aid.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining complex Angular 2+ applications, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
The role involves collaborating closely with UX designers, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
The developer will implement accessibility features adhering to Section 508 and WCAG AA guidelines.
Responsibilities also include reviewing and interpreting technical requirements, UI specifications, style guides, and YAML documents.
The developer will participate in code reviews and implement various Git branching strategies.
Optimizing front-end performance and ensuring cross-browser compatibility is a key duty.
The role requires creating and maintaining custom Angular services, directives, pipes, and components.
Developing responsive web designs using advanced CSS techniques and frameworks is also part of the job.
Requirements:
Candidates must possess at least 5 years of professional JavaScript development experience.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, and work experience is required.
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to pass a Public Trust background investigation is mandatory.
Strong proficiency in the Angular 2+ framework and TypeScript is essential.
Experience with Git version control and collaborative development platforms (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket) is required.
Candidates must have expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design techniques.
Proficiency in Sass/SCSS for creating custom themes is necessary.
Experience with UI frameworks such as Bootstrap or Material Design is required.
Familiarity with RESTful API integration and OAuth implementation is needed.
A strong understanding of web accessibility principles and WAI-ARIA is essential.
Candidates should have a deep understanding of UI rendering and user interactions across modern browsers and rendering engines.
Proficiency in writing detailed code reviews and working with various branching strategies is required.
Experience in refactoring code to improve front-end performance is necessary.
