Description:

  • IT Concepts is seeking an Application Administrator for the VA End Point Support and Operations Monitoring contract within the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Team.
  • The candidate will manage daily operations and maintenance of IT software system applications, including communication with end users to understand issues related to applications.
  • Responsibilities include managing the ServiceNow platform, focusing on collecting Hardware Asset Management requirements, implementing and configuring the ServiceNow Enterprise platform, and providing day-to-day monitoring and user support.
  • The role requires a strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and collaboration with stakeholders to enhance platform functionality and efficiency.
  • Key responsibilities include requirement gathering, platform implementation and configuration, monitoring and support, automation and enhancements, and user training and documentation.
  • The position is remote within the US, supporting Eastern Time working hours, and has an expected duration of 8 months.

Requirements:

  • An Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a graduate of a Technical School is required; 4 additional years of relevant experience may substitute for the education requirement.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail are essential.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, with the ability to present information clearly to various audiences.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow administration and implementation across various ITSM modules, especially HAM Pro and SAM Pro, is required.
  • Experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, UI Policies, etc.) is necessary.
  • Familiarity with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs within the ServiceNow platform is required.
  • Hands-on experience with platform monitoring, troubleshooting, and system upgrades is essential.
  • A ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is required.
  • Candidates must be able to follow policies and procedures and have the aptitude to address sensitive situations positively.
  • Preferred skills include ITIL Foundation certification, additional ServiceNow certifications, experience supporting a federal client, and knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) modules.
  • Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance and must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
