Description:

  • Sinch is seeking an Application Administrator I to provide world-class customer support.
  • The role involves working in a fast-paced environment with new challenges and learning opportunities.
  • Responsibilities include impressing customers on every contact and maintaining a personable communication style across tickets, phones, and chats.
  • The candidate must be able to explain complex topics in an understandable manner.
  • Continuous learning of new technologies, programming languages, operating systems, and APIs is essential.

Requirements:

  • A basic understanding of email receipt and delivery protocols such as POP, IMAP, and SMTP is required.
  • Candidates should have basic knowledge of email composition concepts, specifically MIME standards and formatting.
  • Knowledge of email deliverability techniques, including IP and domain reputation, SPF/DKIM authentication, and spam filtering, is necessary.
  • The ability to execute commands in multiple programming languages is required.
  • A working knowledge of REST APIs and integration with customer solutions is essential.
  • Foundational understanding of Cloud Computing technologies and familiarity with various client and server operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac OSX) is needed.
  • A proactive sense of urgency regarding customer service and communication is important.
  • Strong organization, communication, learning, problem-solving, documentation, and follow-up skills are required.
  • A passion for technology and customer service is essential.
  • The candidate must handle level-appropriate customer support requests primarily via phone, tickets, and chat.
  • Escalation of support requests through appropriate channels is necessary.
  • Documentation of all customer support interactions via the ticketing system is required.
  • The candidate should create and maintain customer loyalty by exceeding expectations.
  • Fostering strong working relationships with other departments, including Sales, Operations, and Support, is important.
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills are necessary to deliver superior customer outcomes consistently.
  • The ability to work with a physically distributed team and maintain a flexible schedule to cover shifts is required.
