DSR Corporation is seeking an experienced Application Security Expert to join their team in Porto, Portugal.
The role involves ensuring the security and resilience of web and desktop applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities include performing security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities in design, code, and architecture, and collaborating with development teams to implement secure coding practices.
The expert will conduct security audits, penetration testing, red teaming, and threat modeling.
Staying updated with the latest security trends and translating this knowledge into actionable improvements is essential.
The position requires the development of detailed documentation, security assessment reports, and remediation recommendations.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in application security.
A Master's degree is preferred, or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience is required.
A strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and CWE Top 25 is necessary.
Hands-on experience with penetration testing and vulnerability assessment tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Metasploit, Nmap, and Snyk is required.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of secure software development principles, including secure coding, authentication, and encryption.
Experience with common web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP is essential.
Hands-on experience in scripting or coding, preferably in Python, JavaScript, or Golang, is required.
The ability to read obfuscated and minified code is necessary.
Familiarity with SAST and DAST tools is expected.
Strong problem-solving skills and technical leadership experience are required.
Experience working in a distributed team is necessary.
Fluency in English is required.
