Description:
ARETUM is seeking a dedicated and skilled Application Developer to join their team, specializing in technology-enabled mission support services for federal clients.
The role involves designing, developing, and implementing software applications tailored to meet the needs of federal clients.
Responsibilities include creating applications from scratch, configuring existing systems, and providing user support.
The candidate must have proven experience in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining large multi-tiered MVC style applications, preferably in a federal government setting.
Strong experience with RDBMS concepts and programming with at least one of the following: SQL Server, MySql, or Oracle is required.
Experience with Microsoft IIS Application and Web Servers, including server-side APIs, is necessary.
Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory concepts and Single Sign On (SSO) is essential.
The role requires participation in requirements analysis and gathering, as well as collaboration with internal and external teams to produce software design and architecture using both traditional waterfall and Agile methodologies.
The candidate will write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages and must have knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, XHTML, XML, HTML, Angular, jQuery, SPA, and Ajax.
Responsibilities also include revising, updating, refactoring, and debugging code, as well as developing documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
The candidate will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on applications and provide technical support, while also being a team player and excellent communicator.
Requirements:
A minimum Secret Security Clearance (or Interim) is required before starting the position.
A DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security + CE or equivalent) is required before starting.
Proven experience as a .NET Developer with strong skills in ASP.NET and other .NET programming languages is necessary.
Deep experience with the .NET framework, SQL Server, and design/architectural patterns such as Model-View-Controller (MVC) is required.
Expertise in C#, JavaScript, and HTML5/CSS3 is essential.
Experience with incorporating architecture styles/APIs such as REST, RPC, SOA, and Microservices is required.
Full stack development experience is necessary.
